Sage ERP X3 offers functionality to create the direct purchase receipt by just setting a parameter. This parameter indicates whether a user is authorized to create a direct receipt (not attached to a purchase order, a shipment request or an inter-company shipment).
New Stuff: How to calculate remainder using X3 mod function?
The list of possible values is: No, Yes.
- No: The user is not authorized to make direct receipts.
- Yes: The user has the possibility to enter receipt lines not attached to an originating document.
Remark: – This setting can be done on folder level.
Follow the below steps to set the parameter:
- Navigate To: Setup > General Parameters > Parameter Value.
If you set Value column as No then it will not allow you to create the direct receipt will give you the following error message.
