The Project is the core of all activities in Manufacturing Project Management. The MPM module is highly flexible in defining the project. A project can have multiple detail lines consisting of either of the following

  • Stage of a project to be tracked
  • Budget that is to be tracked
  • An item that is to be purchased
  • An item that is to be manufactured (This item may be defined with or without a structure / BOM or routing)
  • An item that us to be sold
  • An item that is to be invoiced in case of Progress billing
  • Sub-projects to be tracked

The MPM module provides the ability to take snapshots at regular intervals, to enable the user to compare the project status at variable intervals at which the snapshots were taken.

A Quote can be easily created from the Project screen along with the option to select the lines of the project to be included in the generated quote.

The MPM module also enables the user to create and track all communication associated to the Project by using the standard CRM capabilities like –

  • Track appointments
  • (Tracking/Scheduling) Telephone calls
  • (Recording) Tasks
  • (Recording) Service Requests
