We have come across the requirement where you need to call Third Party REST services from Sage X3. This can be achieved with the below steps.
Create a REST API inside Sage X3 with the using the REST URL and the authentication credentials under Administration | Administration | Rest Web Services.
REST web services
Here, Name is the name of the REST web service. This will be the identifier of the REST service. Base URL will contain the URL for the service and Authentication will contain the credentials.
