Sage 300 ERP provides you a feature “Propagate”, which will copy users & Users Security groups and Currency master data from System database to company database. This feature can be used provided you use same system database for another company.
Let’s take an example, where SAMSYS(system database) is already linked with Company database(SAMINC) and we want to propagate same users, users security groups and currency master of SAMSYS (system database) to another new company database SAMLTD.

So here we will discuss step wise, that how we can propagate users, Users Security groups and currency master data from system database to company database.
In your Windows Computer Navigate to Startà All Programsà Sage Accpacà Database Setup
Enter Sage 300 ADMIN Users Password
Select and click on edit button for that database, for which we want to propagate users and user’s security groups and currency master data from system database to company database.
Click on Propagate button to copy Users, Users Security Groups and Currency master data from SAMSYS (system database) to SAMLTD (company database).
After this process, all users, Security groups and currency master data will be propagated from SAMSYS(system database ) to SAMLTD(Company database). After this process, we just have to assign Security Groups to each and every user by User Authorization screen.
Thus, by following the above mentioned steps we can easily propagate users, security groups and currency master from one system database to other new company database, instead of defining all these in new database.
