How to restrict non-admin users from creating and modifying multiple contact details

By | January 22, 2020

As we know with the release of Sage 300 v2020 PU1, Sage has introduced a new feature where user can create multiple contacts using “Multiple Contacts” menu. Also, user can assign multiple contacts to AR customer and AP vendor. Here Organizations can restrict and grant the access to create and modify the contact details in multiple contact screen using Security Groups. Non-admin users can view the contact details only.

New Stuff:- Use of POSTMAN to test web API of Sage 300

Please follow the steps below to restrict non admin users to create and modify the contact details in multiple contact screen to Non-admin users.

  • Administrative Service –> Security Groups.

Select Multiple Contacts 6.7A and select the Group Id and uncheck the Setup Maintenance checkbox to restrict the non-admin user to create and modify the contact details. Then save the data.
