Please follow the steps below to restrict other users from using Sage 300 Database Sump Utility:
1- Navigate to the Administrative Service –> Security Groups.
Select Administrative Services and select the Group Id and uncheck the Database Dump checkbox to restrict the non-admin user to take the backup of the database. Then save the data.
2- Log in to the Sage 300 data dump utility with non-admin user.
3- Below standard error message will be thrown.
This way Organization can restrict and grant the access to take the backup of the database using the Sage 300 data dump utility.
