Why this error in Sage 300?
Whenever Sage 300 application fails to connect the database while database setup, error is displayed. This means that Sage 300 application has launched, however, when Sage 300 is unable to establish a connection with database. When the user reports this error to the System Administrator, the system admin team checks if the user is able to access the SQL Database. Sometimes Database is not present so you need to add new database.
Resolution of Error:
To resolve the above error in Sage 300, one need to follow the below mentioned simple steps:
- Right click on SQL Server Management Studio and open with run as Administrator.
- Right click on Database and click on New Database.
Specify the Database Name and click on OK.
After that try again to setup the database you will see that error is resolved.
