Recently while browsing through Sage CRM Community user forums, we came across one post in which Sage CRM user was mentioning that Communications Options screen is not visible to him when he clicks on New Email button in Sage CRM.
When we have checked same thing at other Sage CRM with same version; we found that Communication Options panel is visible to us in Sage CRM. Later on, we found the reason why it was suppressed and thought to document this for Greytrix blog lovers and followers.
Usually when user clicks on New Email Screen; he can see Communication Options panel as shown below.
But if Communication Options panel is suppressed then it can be made visible by following below steps.
- Login to Sage CRM with Admin user.
- Navigate to below path in Sage CRM.
Administration | E-mail and Documents | E-mail Configuration
- Click on the Change Button
- Set Outbound E-mails should be filed By dropdown as CRM.
- Click on Save button.
Once above setting is configured, you will see Communications Options screen as expected.
