In our last blog we have discussed the “Options” feature in the Table Block of the Screens, now lets check how it works.
The below screen is GL Journal Entry [Lines Tab], which comprises table with option “KARID4S”, this option will enable the features as per the abbreviations set. i.e.
K- Previous & next line in entry mode
A- Allows deletion of a row.
R- Allows creation of new row.
I- Enables ‘Insert Line’ context menu for the grid.
D- Allows deletion of multiple rows.
A- This number specifies the number of columns to be frozen when the scroll is moved right in the grid.
S- Enables ‘Cut’ context menu for the grid. Works only if D is already set.
The below image show the features which are enabled as per the option set, as you can see the Feature of Cut [S] is enabled but not Copy [B] as B is not included in the options.
A quick note for extra cautious developers like me, the sequence of options in the field doesn’t matter.
