Create Communications (Appointments/Task) on Sage CRM Mobile Apps

As we all know that we can access Sage CRM through mobile using an external URL. However, in Sage CRM desktop application you can distinguish two types of communication (Appointment and Task) using New Task or New Appointment buttons.  But in the mobile application, there is only one button to create i.e. via New Communication.  

In this blog, we will discuss how you can create different types of communication (Task/Appointment) when you are accessing Sage CRM via Mobile.

New stuff: Adding a Pipeline graphic to List using .Net API in Sage CRM

When you Login Sage CRM via mobile. Find the company against which you want to create communication. Next, expand the Communication. Where you will find only get New button using which you can create New communication.

Now try creating two communications with below details.

  1. Subject:Customer Meeting
    Action: Meeting

  2. Subject: Sales Update
    Action: To Do

Now, access Sage CRM via desktop application. Next, go to the Communication tab of the respective company for which you created the communications from Mobile.

Here you can see that the communication was categories into two types. The communication with Action set to To Do got created as a Task. Whereas, the communication created with Action set to Meeting got created as an Appointment.
