We may come under a situation where we have to set different destination according to the user or we have to set a destination for a user based on a particular condition.
To set different destination based on user we can simply define this in :
All -> Setup -> Destination -> Destination by user
Now, to set destinations for a user based on a particular condition, follow the below steps:
- Navigate to All -> Setup -> Destination -> Destination by user
- Add a condition in ‘Additional information’ field as this field has the higest priority while printing.
- This field is linked with the ‘Add info formula’ field which is present in Report code screen.
- In this field, set the parameter which is associated with the value we have added in the ‘Additional information’ field.
For example :
- We want to set ‘PREVIEW’ destination by default if the sales order site is ‘FR011’.
- We have added the value of site in ‘Additional information’ field as shown in below.
- Now we will define the parameter of this value in ‘Add info formula’ field which is present in Report code as shown below.
- Hence, when we print the report in which the site is ‘FR011’. The system will use the ‘PREVIEW’ as destination as shown in the above figure.
