How to Execute Recurring Batch Task Only Once

By | December 1, 2016

Sage X3 provides the recurring batch task functionality to execute a particular task after certain time period. Like if a user wants to schedule a task to be executed weekly or monthly, user can schedule his task. A user can define properties of recurring task such as starting time and ending time, frequency etc. It will allow you to execute the task as per defined properties.

But, you may come across a scenario where you want to execute a recurring batch task only once with its all defined properties. In this scenario, you need to do following settings:

  • Navigate to path: Usage>Batch Server>Task Management.
  • Create a new batch task. Select task type as “Script” and enter your script name. Refer below screenshot.
